The official cost of a 32 page Nigerian passport is
N15,000 and N20,000 for a 64 page passport.
This varies from one location to the another owing to
the bottlenecks and loopholes of the civil service being
exploited by unscrupulous people.
Knowledge they say is power; applicants are urged to
confront officials of the Nigerian Immigration Service
with valid price information to prevent being exploited
in international passport applications.
Meanwhile a cynical Nigerian has this to say about the
price of international passoport;
"You can never get your international passport at those
prices except you want a photocopied version. Pay 18K
and collect your passport after Jesus Christ returns for
the second time. So, you can use it to enter heaven"
