Shehu stated this during a brief chat with Sunrise Daily
on Channels Television on Tuesday morning.
He said Nigerians will soon, “see the President in
flesh.”
Shehu added: “Nigerians should be getting ready to see
the president in flesh, as soon as possible.”
He also stated that it was not shocking that President
Buhari, was the first African leader that the US
President, Donald Trump, spoke with .
“It shouldn’t surprise anyone that President Trump made
the choice of making the first African call to the
President of Nigeria,” he said.
Buhari was initially scheduled to return February 5, but
he sent a letter to the Senate asking for an indefinite
extension of his vacation.
His Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi
Adesina, also told DAILY POST in a phone chat, that his
principal will not sneak into the country.
