A talented artist created a Chinese dragon with 6,000
used tires in order to raise public awareness about
environmental protection.
Zhu Duanqi, who specializes in sculpture, created this
giant dragon with nearly 6,000 tires in 700 days, or
about 23 months.
The dragon weighs roughly 2 tons, and is 4.8 meters in
height (15.8 feet) and 10.8 meters (35.4 feet) in length.
Zhu hopes his work will help raise people's awareness
about the importance of environmental conservation
and making use of waste.
