The Supreme Court today Tuesday, November 8, upheld the
election of Seriake Dickson as the validly elected Governor
of Bayelsa State. The seven-member panel of judges led by
Justice Tanko Muhammad gave the ruling following an
appeal brought before it by the All Progressive Congress
(APC) and its Governorship Candidate in the December 5,
2015 election, Timipre Sylva. The panel members said they
will deliver a detailed judgement on November 18.
