Nigeria league club side, Rivers United were on Thursday, involved in a road crash on their way back to Port Harcourt after a cup game in Ibadan.Rivers UnitedIt was said that besides a player was unconscious, while goalkeeper Sunday Rotimi and skipper Festus Austin were seriously injured in the crash.Recall that Rivers United abandoned their Federation Cup quarterfinal match against Enyimba, which was rescheduled till today after the second half was rained off on Wednesday.Enyimba were leading 1-0 in the rescheduled game before Rivers United walked away from the game in protest against a controversial penalty awarded their opponents.
